NOTICE:
On May 1, 2007, the Law Society of Upper Canada became responsible for regulating the paralegal profession in the Province of Ontario.
Amendments to the Law Society Act were brought about by Bill 14, the Access to Justice Act. Much of the regulatory framework is already in place and the Law Society will be issuing the first paralegal licences in early 2008.
